The role requires interpreting drawings, programming/editing G-code, and maintaining quality throughout production. The position involves 3rd shift (Sunday–Thursday, 11pm–7:30am) with responsibilities across setup, operation, and collaboration with engineering to optimize processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• AS in machining/CNC preferred.
• 5+ years experience operating CNC machines (metal machining preferred).

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to perform drilling, milling, grinding tasks.
• Interpret drawings and blueprints to determine operations.
• Program and adjust machine settings (speed, feed, tool changes).
• Perform routine maintenance on machines.
• Read and edit G-code to adjust toolpaths.
• Use calipers and micrometers to verify part dimensions.
• Collaborate with engineering to optimize processes.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain clean work area.
