Job summary

Copper State Bolt & Nut Co. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a CNC Operator to set up and run CNC machines producing high quality fasteners. You will operate equipment, follow safety procedures, and meet productivity, quality and housekeeping targets.

Responsibilities include daily machine setup, calibrating gauges, loading materials, performing routine safety checks, and maintaining accurate production records. Must pass pre-employment drug and background screening; ability to lift 50 lbs and stand

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machine and auxiliary equipment to produce high quality fasteners.
• Perform daily maintenance and adjustments on CNC machine as needed.
• Synchronize CNC actions for various operations on each job.
• Configure equipment and calibrate gauge settings; load materials onto equipment.
• Perform routine safety checks and ensure guarding and safety devices are working.
• Maintain accurate production records and clean work area.
• Possess ability to train others when required.
• Work in other plant areas as requested by supervisor.
