Role Description

The Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist is a full-time, on-site role located in Phoenix, AZ. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision components according to engineering specifications and production schedules. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting technical drawings, selecting appropriate tooling, performing machine setups, and monitoring machining operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency. The CNC Machinist inspects finished parts with measuring instruments and gauges, performs routine machine maintenance, and documents quality checks in compliance with company standards. The role also involves collaborating with supervisors and team members to resolve production issues, optimize machining processes, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrates strong skills in machine setup, operation and troubleshooting.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Experience with Quality Control practices, including in-process inspection, measurement, and documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
  • Ability to apply mathematical principles such as fractions, trigonometry and geometric identities to practical manufacturing situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Commitment to safety practices and maintaining an organized work area.
  • Previous CNC machining experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in machining is a plus.
  • Reliable attendance, time management, and the ability to work in a team-oriented setting.
