Job summary

The Dixon Group, a long‑standing United States manufacturer, is hiring a CNC Operator for 1st shift in Dallas, NC. You will set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, read blueprints, and perform precision inspections to ensure part quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• 2–5 years CNC experience preferred.
• Experience with CNC Mill or Lathe Operator preferred.
• Reading blueprints and using QC tools required.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and tune CNC machines.
• Run multi-axis milling/drilling/threading programs.
• Interpret blueprints and work instructions with accuracy.
• Perform part inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges.
• Collaborate with machinists and engineers to improve processes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and quality-focused environment.
