Dixon Quick Coupling in Dallas, NC is seeking CNC Operators for 2nd shift to operate CNC mills and lathes, inspect parts, and read blueprints. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and quality in a state-of-the-art shop.

Ideal candidates have 2-5+ years CNC experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. Competitive pay with a 10% shift premium is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-5+ years CNC experience preferred.
• Experience as CNC Mill or Lathe Operator preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Mechanical aptitude; read blueprints; use measuring tools.
• Stand for 8 hours; lift up to 50 pounds; team oriented.
• Willingness to learn and maintain good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple CNC machines safely and accurately.
• Read blueprints and ensure parts meet drawings.
• Perform daily maintenance and care for equipment.
• Train and learn about Dixon products as needed.
• Demonstrate flexibility with rotating assignments in a team setting.

Work Hours: 2nd Shift – 2:55 PM to 11:25 PM, Monday through Friday
Pay Range: Competitive Compensation + 10% Shift Premium

The role involves operating CNC (Computer Numerical Controlled) mills and lathes to produce precision metal components and inspecting products to ensure they meet all drawing specifications. Ideal candidates will be able to confidently read and interpret blueprints, use measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers, and proactively recognize and adjust for any machining issues.
