Job summary

MacLean-Fogg is hiring a CNC Operator for the Mooresville, NC facility. You will set up, operate, troubleshoot, and optimize CNC equipment to support precise production and improve processes while mentoring junior operators.

The role requires 2–5 years of experience, the ability to read blueprints and work instructions, and performing quality checks with gaging instruments. This is a full-time, on-site position with a Monday–Friday night schedule and safety-focused duties.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex equipment or production issues.
• Comprehensive working knowledge of the work performed.
• Interpret work instructions and follow written and verbal directions.
• Intermediate mathematical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Intermediate skill using required gaging instruments and applying them accurately.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and mechanical equipment to support safe, efficient production.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, adjustments, and programming to address machine issues and improve performance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications, and work instructions.
• Conduct quality-control checks with gaging instruments to verify product quality and precision.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area per 5S standards and follow safety policies.
• Support continuous process improvements and mentor junior operators.
