Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a 2nd shift CNC/production operator in Mount Pleasant, IA. You will load materials, operate CNC machines, measure parts, and ensure quality while adhering to safety standards.

You may also contribute to productivity improvements and overtime as required, with full-time hours and competitive benefits. Must lift up to 50 pounds and work with various pneumatic equipment, saws, and cranes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a related area preferred.
• Basic Microsoft knowledge required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and safely.

Responsibilities

• Load Bar material from racks, weld, measure, and cut parts to length.
• Operate CNC-controlled machines (presses, lasers, rolling mills) with emphasis on safety and quality.
• Utilize scanning equipment and inspect work visually for defects.
• Provide cost-saving ideas to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Read a tape measure, follow posted schedules, and learn new tasks.
