Job summary

Schupan is seeking a CNC Operator 1 for the 2nd shift in Kalamazoo, MI. The role involves operating fabrications equipment (cutoff saw, punch press, roll, drill), loading material, and inspecting parts to meet specifications while adhering to ISO procedures and safety guidelines.

The position offers full-time hours, overtime as available, and weekly pay, with benefits including PTO/401(k) and health coverage starting after eligibility.

Qualifications

• 1-3 months of related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of blueprints and precision plans preferred.
• Ability to read a measuring tape and work with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to read and follow written, oral, and diagrammed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate fabrication equipment to cut and shape components.
• Load material using hydraulic cranes by hand.
• Produce parts within specifications and tolerances.
• Measure finished parts with precision tools for quality.
• Follow ISO procedures and maintain a safe, clean work area.
• Maintain logs of units produced and any rejects.
