Schupan & Sons in Covington/Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a Welder for the 2nd shift to join a tight-knit team. The role requires MIG and TIG welding, reading work orders and prints, and a focus on quality and safety.

You will operate welding equipment, assist in fabrication, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced facility. Expect full-time hours Monday through Friday with a 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM schedule, weekly pay, and competitive benefits including PTO, 401(k) with match, and medical

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of MIG and TIG welding experience.
• Technical school completion or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, prints, safety rules, and procedure manuals.
• Proficiency with measurement and unit conversion.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain all welding machinery.
• Identify the most efficient weld type based on work orders/prints.
• Proficiently operate MIG and TIG equipment, cold saws, tauring rollers.
• Perform thermal cutting, grinding, plasma, and oxy/acetylene tasks.
• Operate forklift as needed.
• Maintain a safe work environment and 5S cleanliness.
