Job summary

HBK - Hottinger Brüel & Kjær in California seeks an experienced machinist to operate CNC lathes and milling centers, inspect parts against blueprints, and uphold quality procedures. You will perform tool sharpening, daily maintenance, and maintain a clean, safe workspace in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires 2–4 years’ metal finishing/deburring experience, teamwork, and strong communication. Join an international team contributing to precise manufacturing standards.

Qualifications

• 2 - 4 years of metal hand finishing or deburring experience.
• High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent of progressive related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with Haas, Mazak and Daewoo preferred.
• Experienced machinist able to apply commonly used concepts, practices, and processes in a Machine Shop environment.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and processes in a Machine Shop environment.
• Able to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Good problem-solving skills.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $22.00 to $25.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as physical work location within the state.
