Job summary

A Rockford, IL-based manufacturing company is seeking an experienced CNC Mill/Lathe Operator to join their team. This role requires CNC setup, blueprint reading, and strong G & M code knowledge.

Mazak experience is preferred. You’ll set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, program and adjust using G/M code, perform quality inspections, and maintain a clean, safe workspace on 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM) with pay starting at $19+ per hour.

Qualifications

CNC mill/lathe setup experience.
Ability to read blueprints.
Knowledge of G & M code.
Mazak experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes.
Read and interpret blueprints.
Program and make adjustments using G & M code.
Make machine adjustments as needed.
Perform quality control inspections.
Ensure parts meet required specifications.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
