Job summary

rms Company, a Cretex Medical affiliate, seeks an EDM CNC Machinist to operate CNC/EDM machines and support medical component production. The role focuses on tight tolerances and quality, with first shift Monday–Thursday 5:00 am – 3:30 pm.

Responsibilities include machine operation, quality inspection, preventive maintenance, and tool changes. A sign-on bonus from $1,000 to $5,000 is offered based on experience. Benefits and a comprehensive healthcare/401(k) plan accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Operator experience with EDM CNC machines.
• Strong math background, preferably shop math.
• Understanding of GD&T and blueprint interpretation.
• Ability to read micrometers, calipers and related measurement tools.
• Experience using a microscope is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate EDM CNC machines.
• Perform quality inspection on completed parts.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure consistent machine performance.
• Complete tool changes.
