Stabilus, located at ACE Controls, Inc., a Stabilus company in Farmington Hills, MI, seeks a CNC Operator for 1st shift. You will operate and set up CNC machines (mill/lathes), read specifications, and perform quality checks. Cross-training will be provided on production equipment as needed.

The role emphasizes reading G&Ms and creating G-code programs, with attention to calibration, documentation, and safety in a manufacturing environment.

Formación

• Two years or more of relevant experience.
• Experience with Fanuc controls.
• Ability to read and write simple instructions and memos.
• Ability to read and write G codes and to write programs with G codes.
• Ability to perform simple to complex mathematical processes and analyze results.

Responsabilidades

• Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Sets up, changes over and makes adjustments to equipment/CNC programs.
• Operates machines using push button or pedals.
• Observes machine operation to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Performs deburring and records quality control information.
• Maintains documentation and housekeeping in work areas.
