Job summary

PJ Trailers is seeking a CNC Operator at the Sumner, TX facility. You will operate, maintain, and adjust CNC equipment to produce parts for trailer manufacturing according to SOPs while ensuring safety and quality.

The role requires a high school diploma or related experience, the ability to read operator instructions, and basic math skills to interpret measurements with tape measure and caliper. Physical stamina is needed for lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.

Position Type: Full Time

A CNC Operator handles the computer numerical control machine. Maintaining, setting, and adjusting the machine are all part of the operator's daily tasks. Operator will be cutting and shaping parts to exact specifications from a raw material for the trailer manufacturing operations by using established standard operating procedures and techniques while following company safety standards, maintaining the highest quality through diligent efforts, and maintaining daily production goals. Operator may be asked to perform other tasks assigned in support of fabrication operations.

• Operate CNC machine in safe manner
• Maintain clean and safe work environment
• Perform routine maintenance on the machinery

Qualifications

Required Skills

• High school diploma/equivalent or at least one month of related experience
• Ability to review and understand operator instructions
• Ability to read a tape measure and caliper
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

• Intermittent bending, lifting, stooping, reaching, walking, and squatting
