Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to support lean manufacturing initiatives in our Shelby Township facility.

You will adapt and promote lean principles, participate in waste-elimination meetings, and help achieve company goals while operating multiple CNC centers. You will set machine controls, install fixtures, perform tool setups and repairs, run first-piece checks, and maintain accurate production records.

Qualifications

• CNC machining knowledge with troubleshooting experience.
• Basic computer skills to operate shop software and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Adapt and promote Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Active participant in Elimination of Waste Team meetings.
• Support the Company’s Goals and Objectives.
• Operate machinery in various CNC machining centers.
• Set machine controls and install fixtures.
• Set-up, repair tooling and troubleshoot machines in the cell area.
• Make preliminary checks on first piece and adjust tools for dimensions and quality.
• Maintain daily production paperwork (production reports, PPLH, TAKT, scrap reports).
• Position and remove tools as prescribed.
• Perform quality checks per Quality control.
• Report any quality defects to Team Leader or Supervision.
