Qualifications

• Experience in CNC setup and operation, preferably in a woodwork/millwork shop.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Prior experience using table saw, bandsaw, and hand router is a strong asset.

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

About the Company:

Our client is an award winning architectural fabrication company. They have a portfolio of working with high end clients and are actively looking to add an experienced CNC Operator to their dynamic team!

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Determine and plan the sequence of operations
• Follow verbal and written instructions of numerical dimensions and tolerances
• Set up, operate and maintain CNC machine tools
• Assist the wood shop with other related projects as needed
• Ensure fabrication is done to a high-quality standard and according to schedule
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Experience in CNC setup and operation, preferably in a woodwork/millwork shop
• Experience operating 3-axis and 5-axis CNC Routers (CR ONSRUD, MultiCAM, HOMAG)
• Possess a strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Prior experience working with materials such as millwork sheet goods, solid wood, plastics and composite materials
• Prior experience using analog woodworking machines (table saw, bandsaw, hand router) is considered to be a strong asset
