Schivo Medical is a contract manufacturer that produces medical, surgical tools, and firearms components. We are seeking to hire experienced CNC Machine Operators, preferably with experience in Swiss screw machines.

CNC Machine Operator Position Overview:

Operate CNC machines and inspect finished parts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Verify components are produced according to print (dimensional and visual inspection)
• Change tools
• Make offsets
• Load materials and remove scrap
• Complete various paperwork
• Operate multiple machines simultaneously
• Perform minor troubleshooting
• Inspect parts

Necessary Education, Skills, and Competencies (including licensing and certifications):

• 2-4 years of experience with lathe/mill turning machines
• Experience using Fanuc controls
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints (GD&T symbols)
• Knowledge of various materials and tools (inserts, endmills, drills, etc.)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Dependable and willing to learn new techniques
• Ability to read and write English
