Job summary

Dynacast, LLC is seeking CNC Operators for all three shifts in Elgin, IL to operate CNC machines and support production of precision metal components. Starting pay is $17 per hour with a 10% night shift premium on the 2nd shift and a 15% premium on the 3rd shift; experience and measuring-tool proficiency are valued as well.

Qualifications

• Three to six months related experience preferred.
• Experience with CNC machine operation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains normal efficiency levels.
• Ensures that all equipment is functioning properly and safely or is deviated by the supervisor, using the Process Deviation Request Form.
• Responsible for observing the quality of products for excessive flash, surface finish of casting and other obvious or specifically cautioned defects.
• Responsible for the containment of all non-conforming product, and that all product is properly identified and dispositioned.
• Responsible for following proper safety procedures and maintaining a clean CNC area removing all debris, and wiping down and moping area.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned by the department supervisor or manager.

Pay: Starting at $17/hr, based on experience. Plus, we offer a 10%-night shift premium for 2nd shift and a 15%-night shift premium for 3rd shift.

Summary of Position: Performs operation of CNC machines and related equipment.
