Job summary

Dynacast, LLC, a Form Technologies Company, is currently looking for hard-working and reliable CNC Operators for all 3 shifts to join a global leader in precision die-casting. You will operate CNC machines and contribute to producing high-quality metal components.

Starting at $17/hr, based on experience, with a 10% night shift premium for 2nd shift and 15% for 3rd shift. Benefits include medical plans, dental/vision, disability, 401K match, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; three to six months related experience or training preferred.
• Proven experience as a machine operator; CNC operation is a plus.
• Ability to use measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintains normal efficiency levels.
• Ensures that equipment functions properly and safely or is deviated by the supervisor.
• Observes the quality of products for defects and finishes analysis.
• Contains non-conforming product and ensures proper dispositioning.
• Follows proper safety procedures and keeps the CNC area clean and orderly.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Pay

Starting at $17/hr., based on experience. Plus, we offer a 10%-night shift premium for 2nd shift and a 15%-night shift premium for 3rd shift.

Summary of Position

Performs operation of CNC machines and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintains normal efficiency levels.
• Ensures that all equipment is functioning properly and safely or is deviated by the supervisor, using the Process Deviation Request Form.
• Responsible for observing the quality of products for excessive flash, surface finish of casting and other obvious or specifically cautioned defects.
• Responsible for the containment of all non-conforming product, and that all product is properly identified and dispositioned.
• Responsible for following proper safety procedures and maintaining a clean CNC area removing all debris, and wiping down and moping area.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned by the department supervisor or manager.

Education/Experience

High school diploma/general education degree (GED). Three to six months related experience or training preferred. Proven experience as a machine operator. Experience with CNC machine operation a plus. Ability to use measuring tools a must.
