Qualifications

• Approximately 20 years of CNC machining/manufacturing experience.
• Experience as Shop Manager/Operations leader (Plant/Director of Operations).
• Experience with multiple shifts and 24/7 operations.
• Experience with 5-axis machining and advanced CNC manufacturing.
• Experience implementing Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement.
• Experience with ERP/MRP and production scheduling systems.
• Experience managing capital equipment purchases and capacity planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the CNC machine shop, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Provide leadership to machining, programming, production, quality, maintenance and support personnel.
• Ensure appropriate personnel, equipment, tooling, and resources to meet customer requirements.
• Set clear expectations for supervisors, machinists, and engineers.
• Resolve technical machining issues with programmers and shop staff.
• Drive cycle time, tool life, throughput, and quality improvements.
• Maintain an environment of continuous technical capability improvement.
• Oversee weld shop, tooling assembly, and manufacturing readiness teams.
