Job summary

NyproMold, a leader in precision mold tooling and a Jabil subsidiary, seeks a skilled CNC Programmer to join our high-performance tooling team. You will develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for 3-axis and 5-axis machines, interpreting blueprints and CAD models to meet stringent mold requirements.

You will collaborate across manufacturing and design, strive to reduce cycle times, and ensure safety and quality standards are met in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC programming experience in a mold-making or precision machining environment.
• Strong understanding of G-code, tooling selection, and machining strategies.
• Experience with high-speed machining and tight tolerance work preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed technical drawings.
• Knowledge and experience machine various tool steels.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for 3-axis and 5-axis machining centers using CAM software.
• Interpret blueprints and CAD models to determine machining requirements.
• Select appropriate tooling, cutting parameters, and machining strategies.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and design personnel to ensure part requirements are met.
• Continuously improving cycle times and machining processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements.
