Job summary

MC Molds Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift to program and optimize 3- and 5-axis milling centers using CAM software. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of CNC programming experience.

Responsibilities include downloading data into CAM, creating milling programs with correct tooling and feed rates, and producing setup sheets. Occasional overtime is required; benefits include 401K and health/dental plans.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years CNC programming using CAM software.
Ability to read and interpret blue prints.
Understanding of GD&T fundamentals.
Knowledge of fixture and jig practices.
Experience programming 3/5 axis CNC milling centers with CAM software.
Willingness for overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

Download required data into CAM software.
Create CNC milling programs using WorkNC, Surfcam and Powermill for mold components.
Create programs with correct tooling, speeds and feeds.
Produce setup sheets with estimated cycle times for machinists.
Collaborate with CNC department to optimize processes.
Use Vericut to simulate programs before release.
