Job summary

Matrix Plastic Products is seeking an experienced Milling CNC Programmer/Operator to program, set up, and operate CNC milling centers for plastic mold components. You will develop milling strategies for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining and verify parts against drawings and GD&T.

Collaborate with engineering, mold makers, EDM operators, and quality personnel to maintain tight tolerances and on-time production. The role requires attention to safety, tool selection, and continuous improvement in a

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certificate in machining preferred.
Three or more years of CNC programming and machining experience in precision manufacturing/mold making preferred.
Experience manufacturing components for plastic injection molds preferred.

Responsibilities

Program, set up, and operate CNC milling centers for precision mold components.
Develop machining strategies for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling to optimize tool life and part quality.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T; select tooling and cutting parameters.
Edit CNC programs at the machine to improve performance and maintain tolerances.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; participate in continuous improvement.
