Job summary

STARC Systems seeks a 1st shift Machine Operator to set up and run CNC milling and related equipment, delivering high-precision parts on schedule. You will interpret drawings, adjust tooling, and perform secondary operations to meet the production plan while maintaining quality.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in CNC milling, read engineering prints, and maintain accurate production records. A focus on safety and 5S, plus the ability to work collaboratively on a busy shop floor, is essential.

Qualifications

• Read engineering drawings, prints, and work instructions accurately.
• 1+ years of CNC milling setup, operation, and machining parameters.
• Read calipers, micrometers, and basic measuring gauges.
• Basic math skills and ability to interpret production documents.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC vertical milling machines and related equipment.
• Perform secondary operations to produce components per plan.
• Monitor performance, adjust feeds/speeds/tooling for quality.
• Maintain clean, safe workspace and report issues.
• Assist with routine maintenance and safety compliance.
