Job summary

STARC Systems is seeking a Machine Operator (2nd Shift) in Brunswick, ME to set up and operate CNC milling and related production equipment. You will perform primary and secondary machining, ensure quality per engineering specs, and maintain an organized shop floor.

The role emphasizes safety, 5S, and timely delivery, with opportunities to obtain forklift certification and grow within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• One or more years of CNC milling setup/operation experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and prints.
• Experience with machining parameters and tooling.
• Basic math and measurement with precision instruments.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC vertical milling machines, saws, drill presses to create parts per production plan.
• Perform secondary machining to prepare components for assembly.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust feeds, speeds, and tooling as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and report equipment issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace following 5S and OSHA guidelines.
