Job summary

SMF Inc., a longtime metal manufacturer in Anderson, SC, is hiring an experienced CNC Machine Operator for 2nd or 3rd shift. You will set up and run CNC Milling centers to drill, grind, and mill parts, reading blueprints and specifications to ensure each piece meets exact tolerances.

We offer a competitive starting wage with a $2.50/hr shift premium, annual bonuses, wage increases, generous PTO, 11 holidays, and comprehensive health coverage.

Qualifications

Experience as CNC Milling Machine Center Operator preferred.
Ability to read gauges and blueprints and interpret drawings.
Proficient in precision measurement and tool setup.
Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC Milling Machine Centers to drill, grind, and mill parts.
Read blueprints/drawings and translate into machine commands.
Load raw materials, run tests, and adjust for quality.
Inspect finished parts and ensure conformance to specifications.
Perform daily maintenance to ensure machine reliability.
