Job summary

ClearBridge Executive Search seeks an experienced CNC Machinist to join a growing precision manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will set up and operate CNC milling machines, read blueprints, and produce high-quality components for aerospace/defense/space industries.

Responsibilities include selecting tooling, inspecting parts, and maintaining tight tolerances. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, read engineering drawings, and work 2nd or 3rd shift.

Qualifications

• Experience setting up and operating CNC milling machines.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints.
• Experience using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers).
• Able to work with both metric and standard measurements.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Available to work 2nd or 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture precision components.
• Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and work-holding equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Adjust machining speeds, feeds, and cutting depths based on materials and job requirements.
• Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain tight tolerances and ensure parts meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments to improve performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve machining processes, productivity, and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
