Job summary

Regal Rexnord Thomson/Nook Cleveland Division is seeking a CNC Grinder Operator for the second shift to set up and operate centerless grinders meeting ISO 9001 standards. You will inspect parts to print, handle deburring as needed, and move material to the next station, ensuring quality and efficiency.

You will read blueprints, measure with micrometers and calipers, calculate feeds and speeds, and work in a safe, clean environment with coworkers on the production floor.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year related experience or training.
• Ability to interpret verbal and written directions; mechanically inclined with math skills.
• Ability to read micrometers and calipers; understands feeds/speeds.

Responsibilities

• Set up centerless grinder machinery and operate it to production standards.
• Inspect parts against prints and report defects per ISO 9001 guidelines.
• Move finished material to the next workstation and maintain cleanliness.
• Adhere to safety and quality requirements in a team environment.

We have one opening for CNC Grinder Operator for our second shift.

As a CNC Grinder Operator at Regal Rexnord Thomson/Nook Cleveland Division your focus will be to:

• Set up centerless grinder machinery.
• Operate centerless grinder machinery upholding and adhering to production standards and ISO 9001 regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect product to print, looking for any flaws and defect of material, including deburring if necessary.
• Move completed material to next workstation.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.

Required Skills

Education: One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.

Experience: 6 months - 1-year related experience or training.

Specific Skills & Knowledge:

• Ability to interpret and understand verbal and written directions.
• Mechanically inclined with strong math skills.
• Ability to read basic measuring devices, including micrometers, and calipers. Working knowledge of surface footage and feed rates and experienced in calculating feeds and speeds.
• Must successfully complete a blueprint reading course.
