Job summary

Regal Rexnord Thomson/Nook Cleveland Division is seeking a CNC Grinder Operator for the second shift to set up and run centerless grinding operations, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards and production schedules. You will read blueprints, measure parts with micrometers and calipers, and maintain a safe, clean work area.

Experience with grinding, feeds and speeds, and a certificate from a technical school are preferred.

Qualifications

  • One year college/technical certificate preferred.
  • 6 months to 1 year related experience or training.

Responsibilities

  • Set up centerless grinder machinery.
  • Operate grinder while meeting production standards and ISO 9001 guidelines.

CNC Grinder Operator - Second Shift

Position: CNC Grinder Operator at Regal Rexnord Thomson/Nook Cleveland Division.

Responsibilities
  • Set up centerless grinder machinery.
  • Operate centerless grinder machinery upholding and adhering to production standards and ISO 9001 regulations and guidelines.
  • Inspect product to print, looking for any flaws and defect of material, including deburring if necessary.
  • Move completed material to next workstation.
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment.
Required Education & Experience
  • One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
  • 6 months – 1-year related experience or training.
Specific Skills & Knowledge
  • Ability to interpret and understand verbal and written directions.
  • Mechanically inclined with strong math skills.
  • Ability to read basic measuring devices, including micrometers, and calipers.
  • Working knowledge of surface footage and feed rates and experienced in calculating feeds and speeds.
  • Must successfully complete a blueprint reading course.
