Job summary

Diamondback Firearms, LLC is seeking a skilled CNC Mill-Turn Set Up Operator to set up and operate CNC Mill-Turn machines and fixtures, maintain quality records, and manage tooling and supplies for new product launches and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will work closely with leadership to prioritize work, set up machines per process sheets, and prove out new products while documenting procedures for training production operators.

Qualifications

• 5+ years with blueprints, GD&T and technical docs for machine operation.
• 5+ years in CNC Mill-Turn from setup to finish.
• 5+ years with Fanuc or other CNC controls.
• 5+ years of 3,4,5 axis Mill-Turn machining.
• 3+ years programming / editing Mill-Turn programs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and quality operations in support of machining for self and others.
• Prioritize work with leadership based on production schedule.
• Operate machines per process sheets and specs.
• Prove out new products, fixtures, and tooling; train operators.
• Plan machining by studying work orders, drawings and specs.
• Maintain safety procedures and logs; document actions across shifts.
