Job summary

Alinabal is seeking a second-shift CNC milling operator to turn prints into production-ready setups for rod-formed parts. You will translate blueprints and GD&T into precise setups, run programs, and monitor dimensions and cycle times.

This temp-to-perm role emphasizes safety, collaborative problem-solving with Engineering and Quality, and accurate inspection records using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

Qualifications

• 2+ years operating CNC milling machines; rod-forming or precision machining background preferred.
• Proficient in reading drawings and applying GD&T.
• Mechanical problem-solver with attention to detail.
• Comfortable using precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Knowledge of CNC programming and G-code is a plus.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs and performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced shop.

Responsibilities

• Translate blueprints, work instructions, and GD&T into efficient CNC mill setups for rod-formed parts.
• Run, monitor, and adjust programs to keep dimensions in spec and cycle times optimized.
• Conduct in-process inspections with micrometers, calipers, and gauges; document results.
• Perform routine maintenance and resolve machine issues to reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality to refine tooling, offsets, and methods.
• Maintain accurate setup sheets, machine parameters, and quality records.
• Uphold safety practices and support training of fellow operators.
