Job summary

Precinmac in Oregon is seeking multiple CNC Mill Machinists for the Swing shift to operate vertical mills and produce high-tolerance components. The role requires reading drawings, setting up jobs, and making in-process adjustments in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Comfortable working with decimals and close tolerances.
• Able to set up jobs and run first part.
• Able to adjust programs if required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Start and observe machine operation to ensure correct execution.
• Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors.
• Make offset changes and verify adjustments.
• Measure parts with micrometers/calipers and other devices.
• Verify conformance of completed work.
• Work on vertical mills (Haas and Brother) across multiple machines.
