Qualifications

• 5-10 years of machining experience in a similar role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with good hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and physical stamina.
• Proficient in blueprint reading and dimensional tolerancing.
• Familiar with CNC programming concepts and use of manual hand tools.
• Knowledge of raw material defects, quality standards, and non-conformance procedures.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook).
• High school diploma, vocational training, or equivalent education.
• Strong organizational skills, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Blueprint Interpretation – Read and apply technical drawings to determine dimensions, tolerances, and sequence of operations.
• Machine Setup & Operation – Prepare and operate CNC and conventional machines to perform drilling, milling, turning, and boring.
• Tooling & Process Control – Select proper cutting tools, fixtures, and attachments; apply SOPs to maintain tolerances.
• Quality Assurance – Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments.
• Troubleshooting – Monitor machine performance and resolve malfunctions.
• Workplace Safety & Organization – Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area in accordance with safety standards.
