Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating CNC machines and familiarity with CNC programming languages (G-code).
• Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Knowledge of precision measuring instruments and metrology techniques.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machines for operation including loading materials and installing cutting tools.
• Translate drawings into machine instructions and program modifications.
• Operate CNC machines to produce parts to specified dimensions and tolerances.
• Monitor operations, adjust settings, and perform quality checks.
• Record machine actions and production/quality logs.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
• Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and traceability of records.
