Job summary

Randstad is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist in Missouri for multi-axis milling of aerospace components. The role supports first-piece and in-process inspections, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards.

Shifts available include 2nd, 3rd, and 4th with premiums for evenings and weekends. Education requirement is High School, with 3+ years of relevant CNC experience and strong blueprint interpretation.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience operating CNC mills.
• Experience with 5-axis milling is required.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Use micrometers, bore gauges and calipers for inspection.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC mills for aerospace components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical directives.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections with precision tools.
• Inspect machine setups and review inspection reports for compliance.
• Participate in quality, safety and productivity improvements.
• Maintain a safe workplace by following established rules.

Operating out of a climate-controlled facility conveniently located near the I-44/I-270 exchange, the plant runs seven days a week to maximize production, offering steady work and schedule options tailored to your life.

We are currently accepting applications for all off shifts:

• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (Monday – Friday) | Includes 10% shift differential
• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 8:30 AM (Monday – Thursday) | Includes 15% premium
• 4th Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM (Saturday & Sunday) plus one 8-hour weekday shift (32 hours/week) | Includes 25% premium

salary: $52,000 - $60,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Setup & Operation:Set up and operate 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC mills to produce complex aerospace components.
• Technical Interpretation:Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and written technical directives.
• Quality Inspection:Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision tools including micrometers, bore gauges, and calipers.
• Audit & Review:Inspect machine setups and review inspection reports to ensure total compliance with aerospace standards.
• Process Improvement:Actively participate in initiatives to enhance quality, safety, and productivity.
• Safety Compliance:Maintain a safe working environment by following all established rules and requirements.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
