Job summary

Randstad Staffing in Maple Grove, MN, is seeking a CNC Mill Operator to run 3-4 axis milling centers on aerospace-grade parts made from titanium, aluminum, and stainless steel.

You will read blueprints and GD&T, perform first article inspections, and adjust tools via G-code at the controller to keep parts within tight tolerances. This is a second shift with hours 4 PM to 2 AM.

Randstad Staffing is hiring for a CNC Mill Operator in Maple Grove, MN for a precision machine shop supporting the aerospace industry. In this role you will operate multi-axis CNC Milling centers to manufacture parts made from titanium, aluminum and stainless steel.

• Machine Operation: Operate 3-4 axisCNC vertical and horizontal milling centers.
• Blueprint Reading & GD&T: Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, travelers, and operation sheets with a strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Quality & Inspection: Perform detailed initial, in-process, and first-article inspections (FAI) using precision hand tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges) and CMM reports to maintain tight aerospace tolerances.
• Offsets & Adjustments: Read G-code/M-code and execute minor work or tool offset adjustments at the machine controller to maintain part compliance.
