Position Summary
Mill Creek Machining (MCM), a CMT company, seeks a CNC Mill Machinist for our Paullina, IA location. The CNC Mill Machinist is responsible for producing quality parts on CNC lathe machines. If you are dedicated and passionate about success, Mill Creek Machining is a great place to start!

• This position works Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm. The pay range is $19.00 - $26.00/hr., depending on experience. A weekly attendance bonus of $44.00 is added when all scheduled hours are worked.
• Our machine shop is 100% climate controlled!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Verify cycle times and report discrepancies to the crew chief, annotating on the traveler.
• Verify and set gauges against standards, ensuring correctness per inspection sheet.
• Ensure all safety devices are operational.
• Inspect the machine and work area for proper order and operation.
• Operate machinery safely and according to procedures.
• Make routine offsets and determine when to change inserts.
• Change work holding fixtures and tooling as instructed.
• Assist in setup preparations as directed.
• Perform all duties of a trainee and tasks assigned by supervision.

Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of related experience or training, or equivalent education and experience.
• Ability to apply basic math concepts.
• Ability to interpret instructions in various formats.
• Capable of producing precision work.
