Position Summary

Mill Creek Machining (MCM), a CMT company, is seeking a CNC Machinist for our Paullina, IA location. The CNC Machinist is responsible for producing quality parts on our Doosan, Takamaz, and Mazak lathes. Details

• This position offers overtime and a schedule from Monday to Thursday, 4:50 pm - 3:50 am. The pay range is $19.00 - $26.00/hr., depending on experience. An additional $3.00/hr. is added for night shift work. A weekly attendance bonus of $44.00 is provided when all scheduled hours are worked.
• Our machine shop is 100% climate controlled!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Verify cycle times and report discrepancies.
• Ensure gauging accuracy per inspection sheet.
• Maintain safety devices and ensure proper machine operation.
• Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
• Make routine offsets and change inserts as needed.
• Change work holding fixtures and tooling under supervision.
• Assist in setup preparations as directed.
• Perform all duties of a trainee and other tasks assigned by supervision.

Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of related experience or training, or equivalent education and experience.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to interpret instructions in various formats.
• Capable of producing precision work.
