Job summary

Jobot in Chilton, WI seeks an experienced CNC Mill Machinist for a permanent, on-site role. The candidate will create and optimize CNC programs, set up and run milling centers, select tooling, and interpret blueprints to produce precision components with tight tolerances.

Job Details
  • Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for milling operations
  • Set up, adjust, and operate CNC machining centers for new and existing jobs

  • Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and engineering drawings to determine machining processes
  • Produce precision components while maintaining tight tolerances and quality standards
  • Perform in-process and final inspections using standard measuring equipment
  • Complete production documentation and maintain accurate manufacturing records
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and basic preventative maintenance activities
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
  • Operate material-handling equipment as required
Qualifications
  • Technical school training in machining technology or 2-5 years of recent experience in a precision machining environment
  • Minimum 3 years of CNC milling experience
  • Demonstrated experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC milling equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, prints, models, and manufacturing specifications
  • Strong mathematical skills, including fractions, decimals, and measurement conversions
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work within a team environment
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
