Job summary

PMD Aerospace, LLC is seeking a skilled CNC Mill & Lathe Operator to support our precision aerospace manufacturing operations in Santa Fe Springs, CA. The role requires experience with 3–5 axis CNC mills and 2-axis lathes, reading engineering drawings, and performing dimensional inspections to produce high-quality components.

You will be responsible for machine setup, tool changes, quality inspections, and maintaining accurate production records while adhering to aerospace standards and safety

Qualifications

• 3+ years CNC machining experience preferred.
• Experience operating CNC mills and lathes.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Working knowledge of precision measuring equipment.
• Experience with AS9100 quality requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC vertical and horizontal milling machines and CNC lathes.
• Load and unload materials, fixtures, and finished components.
• Perform machine setups and tooling changes as qualified.
• Monitor machining operations for part quality and efficiency.
• Maintain records and documentation in JobBOSS and related paperwork.
• Follow safety policies and 5S housekeeping standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap and setup time.
