A.S. Aerospace Inc. in Santa Clarita, CA, is seeking a skilled CNC Mill/Lathe Programmer & Setup Technician to program, set up, and optimize CNC milling and turning operations for aerospace fasteners and tooling.

The role collaborates with Engineering, Quality, Tooling, and Production to meet customer requirements and aerospace quality standards. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with CNC mills and lathes, develops machining processes and tooling strategies, troubleshoots issues,

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required; certificate/degree in machining-related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of CNC programming and setup experience in precision manufacturing.
• Experience with both CNC milling and CNC turning operations; aerospace experience preferred.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and CNC machine controls; strong G-code knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes for aerospace fasteners and tooling.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications; develop machining processes and tooling strategies.
• Perform first article inspections and quality validations; troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Tooling, and Production to meet customer requirements.
• Train operators and ensure compliance with AS9100 and company standards.
