Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Leland, NC seeks a CNC lathe/mill operator to support production through setup, inspection, and monitoring of tooling and machines. You will handle non-conformances, assist leadership, and ensure safety and process compliance on a daily basis.

Candidates should have 2–4 years of CNC experience, familiarity with ERP data entry, and the ability to read blueprints with GD&T. This on-site role requires steady, precise workmanship.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years CNC Lathe or Mill operating experience.
• Proficient with ERP systems to enter job data.

• ITAR compliance knowledge.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow shop procedures including updates, signatures and stamps.
• Count quantities, label and handle non-conformance activities.
• Inspect and measure parts and complete in-process inspections.
• Notify supervision of discrepancies and assist Lead as needed.
• Observe machine operation to detect malfunctions; alert Lead or Supervisor.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for utilizing shop procedures including updates, signatures, and stamps, counting quantities, labeling and non-conformance related activitiesEnsure an accurate router accompanies all work ordersInspect and measure parts as needed, and complete in-process inspections. For any discrepancies notify supervision.Assist Lead person as neededStart and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.
