Job summary

Torrey Holistics in New Baltimore, Michigan, seeks an experienced CNC Lathe programmer/set-up operator to produce precision parts from customer specifications using Mastercam and live tooling.

You will verify dimensions, read blueprints, edit programs, and maintain quality logs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Requires 10+ years CNC lathe experience and Mastercam proficiency.

Qualifications

• CNC Lathe programming experience.
• Blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Use of measurement tools (gauges, micrometers, calipers).
• Ability to edit and optimize CNC programs.
• Read and understand blueprints to verify requirements.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Program using Mastercam for CNC lathes and live tooling.
• Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce parts per specifications.
• Verify machine settings by measuring positions and first-run parts.
• Inspect and measure machined parts to ensure blueprint conformity.
• Monitor dimensions and adjust processes to maintain tolerances.
• Document production and quality logs as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Comply with company processes, procedures, quality directives and safety rules.
