Job summary

GROB Systems in Kentucky is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to be a primary technical resource during installation, startup, troubleshooting, and ongoing customer support for our milling and manufacturing equipment. The role blends hands-on problem solving with coordination of projects and customer relationships on site.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience with CNC machinery, and the ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree preferred in Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical docs.
• Experience with CNC machines or automated manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical troubleshooting and problem-resolution support to customers and field technicians.
• Serve as the primary technical contact during customer support engagements.
• Assist customers in equipment operation, maintenance, and best practices.
• Respond promptly to service requests and emergency situations.
• Document service activities, findings, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and service teams to resolve complex issues.
• Maintain positive customer relationships and uphold quality commitments.
