Job summary

Randstad USA in Overland Park, KS is seeking a results-driven Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations at our growing facility. This leadership role combines CNC/machining expertise with data analytics to streamline and modernize processes.

You will direct shop floor activities, manage data workflows using Excel and Access, partner with production and maintenance teams, and drive cross-functional initiatives to meet safety, quality, and production targets.

Qualifications

• Data & Analytics Expertise: Advanced, high-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access (or legacy database systems), with hands-on experience using MRP/ERP platforms.
• Technical / CNC background in machining environments.
• Leadership experience in manufacturing operations or plant supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills to analyze production data and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily manufacturing and shop floor activities to meet production schedules, safety standards, and quality targets.
• Analyze operational metrics and inventory to drive plant efficiency and throughput.
• Audit internal data workflows using Excel and Access to identify bottlenecks and improve processes.
• Collaborate with production managers, machinists, and maintenance technicians to support CNC operations.
• Serve as the strategic bridge between plant floor, supply chain, and executive leadership to align goals.
