Job summary

Durex Industries is seeking a CNC Manufacturing Operations Supervisor to guide day-to-day machining operations and material flow on the shop floor. You will ensure parts, data, and people converge to hit schedule, quality, and safety targets.

You will publish daily metrics, manage WIP, implement replenishment routes, coordinate with Purchasing, and drive Kanban-based material optimization while maintaining an up-to-date production schedule.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; AS in Operations preferred.
  • Experience in discrete manufacturing environments.
  • Strong data analysis and process discipline.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and supervise teams on the shop floor.
  • Experience with ERP and MES systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Publish daily metrics and shop-floor visibility tools (WIP, transactions, cycle counts, open MOs).
  • Control and track WIP to align with the production plan.
  • Validate alignment between SFM activity and ERP records.
  • Design and run replenishment routes (milk runs) for floor stock.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing on material reviews and replenishment quantities.
  • Drive materials optimization using safety stock and Kanban methods.
  • Keep production schedule current and accessible for production teams.
  • Own special projects and ad hoc analyses as needed.

About the opportunityJoin Durex Industries as the CNC Manufacturing Operations Supervisor and guide day-to-day machining operations and material flow on the shop floor. You will ensure the right parts, data, and people come together to hit schedule, quality, and safety targets.A day in this roleKeep materials moving smoothly across manufacturing areas to prevent bottlenecks.Publish daily metrics and visibility tools: work-in-process progress, transactions, cycle counts, and open manufacturing orders.Control and track WIP to plan.Validate alignment between Shop Floor Manager (SFM) activity and ERP records for transactions, quantities, and locations.Design and run replenishment routes (milk runs) for floor stock items.Serve as the shop-floor point of contact to Purchasing, supporting material reviews and determining replenishment quantities.Drive materials optimization using safety stock strategies and Kanban methods.Give production teams full component visibility for in-process MOs by keeping the production schedule current and accessible.Own special projects and ad hoc analyses as business needs evolve.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) required; AS in Operations a plus.Background in discrete manufacturing environments.Demonstrated rigor with process discipline and data analysis.Sound judgment and the ability to sustain newly implemented processes.Self-starter who is adaptable, change-oriented, and driven to deliver results.Clear, professional communication skills across verbal, written, and electronic channels.Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail.Proficiency with MS Great Plains ERP; experience with MES for labor and material transactions; MS Office; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.Work authorization (verbatim)Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship, both now and in the future.Technical and leadership strengthsPeople leadership and team supervision.CNC tooling expertise; CNC programming; G-code proficiency.CNC machine installation, setup/changeover, and repair.Production planning and scheduling in a machining environment.ISO 9001 familiarity and commitment to quality systems.Warehouse operations knowledge and materials handling.Workplace safety and EHS management; OSHA 10-Hour (OSHA 10).Spanish language capability.Understanding of Workers’ Compensation practices.
