Job summary

A leading global precision manufacturing company in Rockford, IL seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to support production and drive continuous improvement in a modern, air-conditioned machining environment.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting machining, process, and quality issues; supporting grinding, milling, and turning; designing fixtures and workholding; leading CAPEX projects; and developing processes and documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in a precision machining or metalworking environment.
• Strong production support and troubleshooting skills.
• Grinding experience is highly desirable.
• Experience owning manufacturing improvement or capital projects.
• Proficiency in CAD/3D modeling, GD&T, and engineering drawings.
• Strong engineering fundamentals and willingness to learn specialized grinding processes.

Compensation: $80,000–$110,000+ based on experience.
