Job summary

Employbridge in El Segundo, CA seeks a skilled CNC Manufacturing Engineer to join our on-site manufacturing team. You will machine molds and precision components for production and prototype programs, owning CAM programming, setup, and production.

The ideal candidate has 2–4+ years of CNC experience, strong CAD/CAM skills, GD&T interpretation, and a collaborative mindset to improve manufacturability and tooling efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4+ years CNC machining experience in mold making or high-precision work.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software: Onshape, Autodesk Fusion CAM, Mastercam.
• Experience operating CNC mills and CNC lathes.
• Ability to read GD&T drawings and models.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• U.S. Person status as defined by EAR and ITAR.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Entry to mid-level experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage materials and tooling operations including capacity planning and workflow standardization.
• Deliver high-quality molds and prototype components within aggressive timelines.
• Own the complete machining process from CAM programming to production.
• Collaborate with design engineers to optimize manufacturability and efficiency.
• Communicate project status, timelines, challenges, and solutions clearly.
• Select, set up, and optimize tooling for machining composite and metal components.
• Maintain, calibrate, and support shop equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional environment.
• Develop CAM templates, fixturing methods, and scalable production processes.
• Manufacturing team leadership and process development expansion.
