Job summary

Hybron Technologies in El Segundo is seeking a hands-on CNC Manufacturing Engineer to join our fast-paced shop. You will machine molds and components for production and prototyping, from CAM programming to setup and machining, delivering high-precision parts on tight timelines.

Ideal candidates have 1–4+ years CNC experience, proficiency in CAD/CAM tools (Onshape, Fusion CAM, Mastercam), and the ability to read GD&T drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or Equivalent.
• 1–4+ years of CNC machining experience with preference for a mold making, high-precision, or 3D surfacing background.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (Onshape, Autodesk Fusion CAM, Mastercam, or equivalent).
• Experience with CNC vertical machines and CNC lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD/CAM models, GD&T, and technical drawings.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• U.S. Person status pursuant to EAR and ITAR definitions.
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
• This role is for Entry to Mid-level Candidates.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-end molds and prototype parts on fast timelines
• Manage full process from CAM programming to setup and machining
• Collaborate with engineering to provide manufacturing feedback and ensure designs are optimized for production
• Co‑own materials and tooling operations, including;capacity planning, material purchasing, tooling acquisition, and Standardizing tooling within the shop
• Communicate project timelines, setbacks, and updates clearly
• Perform tooling selection, setup, and optimization for composites and metals
• Maintain and calibrate shop equipment
• Help keep a clean, organized, and professional work environment
• Develop and refine CAM templates and fixturing methods for scalable production
