Job summary

Envista is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to support CNC machining, tooling, setup optimization, and process improvements in a medical device manufacturing environment, collaborating with Production, Quality and Engineering.

Candidates must reside within a commutable distance to Thousand Oaks, CA; onsite five days per week; a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering and 2–4 years of manufacturing engineering experience are required; SolidWorks experience a

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering required.
2–4 years of manufacturing engineering experience in machining.
2+ years supporting CNC machining operations.
Experience with CNC setups, tooling, and problem diagnosis.
Experience creating or modifying CAD models and drawings (SolidWorks).
Experience with manufacturing process validation and documentation.

Responsibilities

Support CNC machining operations through process development, optimization, troubleshooting, and CI activities.
Develop, document, and maintain CNC processes, setup sheets, work instructions, tooling requirements, and SOPs.
Collaborate with CNC programmers and machinists to optimize programs, reduce cycle/setup times, and improve process capability.
